Expand your thinking beyond lean to include the integration of green wastes that you can apply to both your personal life and at work. This will include an expanded view of the wastes of lean, energy and environment. We will present real life examples that will help you understand the value of this approach. The “take away” will include a tool to help you review any process to identify these wastes. Warning: Your way of thinking after this session may result in changes in behavior which may lead to saving money and improving the quality of your life.
Kurt Middelkoop has over 29 years of experience in manufacturing and small business ownership and operation and presents a holistic, integrated approach to his customers. He helps organizations remain globally competitive by identifying improvement opportunities that eliminate waste while protecting margins and increasing both profitability and competitiveness. Over the past 15 years he has worked with over 75 organizations to identify annual cost savings of over 18 million dollars which includes 11 million from lean, 4.5 million from energy and 2.5 million from environmental opportunities. He received his B. S. Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee in 1984. He has been married for 29 years and has 3 daughters ages 21, 19 and 15.
