Speaker: Milton Jones, General Motors

Milton is currently the Supply Chain Director at the General Motors Arlington Assembly Plant in Arlington, Texas. Home of GM’s top selling Full Size Sport Utility Trucks (Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon and Escalades). Arlington Assembly is a 3 shift vehicle manufacturing plant with over 6,000 part numbers. Daily volume is 1,203 vehicles a day.

     Prior to his assignment at Arlington, Milton was the Supply Chain Director at the GM Lordstown Assembly Plant in Lordstown, Ohio. Lordstown Assembly is a high volume small car plant that produces 1,260 Chevy Cruzes a day. Milton also performed the same role at GM’s Parma Metal Fabricating plant in Parma, Ohio. Parma produces over 1,000 different underbody metal parts for just about all of GM’s assembly and service part plants. Milton has also completed central office assignments in Warren, MI. Milton has just entered his 20th year with GM.

     Milton is a native of Teaneck, New Jersey. He received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Economics from the University of Maryland and a Master’s of Science in Manufacturing Operations from Kettering University. Milton just celebrated 20 years of marriage and they are enjoying the “empty nest” as their son attends Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Milton is a diehard New York Giants football fan and enjoys being a Giants fan while only steps away from AT & T Stadium in Arlington.
