LaVar McCline is a creative director, educator, entrepreneur, workforce development advocate, and UX design consultant with over 25+ years of experience designing engaging brand experiences. His expertise lies in branding, marketing, workforce, and UX design for diverse clients, including educational institutions, healthcare organizations, and financial companies.  LaVar is an active member of the design community, serving on the advisory board of UC Berkeley Extension and contributing to Medium with articles on the subjects of design, diversity, and healthcare. He is passionate about education and technology, having taught at the Art Institute and holding executive certificates from MIT and Dartmouth. 

With a strong background in branding, marketing, and design, LaVar has successfully developed and executed creative strategies for clients in education, employment, finance, transportation, and health sectors, including the Center for Medicare and Medicaid, Dept of Education, Digitas Health, the National PTA, K12, PNC Bank, Rosetta Stone, and the University of Pittsburgh. LaVar's commitment to continuous learning is evident through his creation of an education-based non-profit, HDG University, and he is currently partnering with ISDs and industry leaders to build apprenticeship programs for cybersecurity, web development, IT, and advanced manufacturing through the Department of Labor. He is currently supporting local businesses, working with Career Team and Workforce Solution as a Business Account Liaison with territories of Collin, Denton, Hunt, Kaufman, and Rockwall counties.
