3D printing for work is, well, work.  It is certainly a new revolution in manufacturing, enabling faster and cheaper prototyping and production.  But, what are the fun, practical uses in the home?  What is possible?  How do these then apply back to the workplace for improved design for products?

 In this interactive presentation, we will look at the resources that show you the how to, where to go and what is involved for basic design and 3D printing.  We will look at the process of taking a 2D design on paper to 3D reality.  Whether printing baubles for your desk, custom chess sets, body armor for your G.I. Joe or Barbie, or props for your model train landscape, you just let your creativity be your guide.
